Astec Industries, Inc. to present at Bank of America 2008 BASics/Industrials Conference

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 5, 2008) - Astec Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTE) announces today that it will participate in the Bank of America 2008 BASics/Industrials Conference in New York, New York, on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. The meeting will include a presentation by Stephen C. Anderson, Corporate Secretary and Director of Investor Relations and David C. Silvious, Corporate Controller.

Astec Industries, Inc. is a manufacturer of specialized equipment for building and restoring the world’s infrastructure.
