Training is essential for your company to stay competitive in an industry that’s changing faster than we realize. It’s also an important key to keep your employees happy and invested in their careers. This is especially true for the younger workers who desire training and growth, and who are going to carry your company into the future.
Technology has given us many different avenues for training throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and Astec has worked hard to stay in touch with our customers and keep them up to date on the latest innovations impacting their business. However, some things just can’t be taught through a computer.
In 2022, Astec again offered their popular customer training schools at a limited capacity after taking a year off to keep everyone safe in 2021. We are happy to announce that Astec’s Asphalt Customer Training Schools will resume at full capacity for 2023 to help our customers gain a competitive edge through education.
During our training sessions, we cover key aspects of plant maintenance and operation through a unique combination of lectures and hands-on training. Our goal is to provide the most valuable experience for all school attendees by drawing on the expertise of seasoned instructors with decades of field experience. We bring in both engineers and service technicians to give attendees comprehensive education surrounding their plant and its operations.
