Astec Showcases Innovative Concrete Solutions at World of Concrete

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Jan. 28, 2025) – Last week, Astec Industries, a designer and manufacturer of specialized equipment for concrete production, asphalt road building and aggregate processing, proudly showcased its equipment and concrete parts kits at World of Concrete in Las Vegas, NV.
“Participating in industry events like World of Concrete enables us to connect with our customers and hear directly how Astec equipment and wear parts have helped them succeed,” Astec CEO Jaco van der Merwe said. “At Astec, we believe every part matters—whether it is a critical component, an innovative design or the trust we build with our customers.”
From Jan. 21-23 at Booth N937 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, attendees had the opportunity to use extended reality headsets to virtually experience 3D models of Astec’s innovative equipment.
On the show floor, Astec displayed concrete equipment, including CON-E-CO 327SS, a compact, high-performance batching plant designed to meet the demands of modern construction projects. Featuring an array of cutting-edge features, including portable ground mats, the plant maximizes productivity with set-up ease.
Additionally, Astec introduced concrete parts kits, designed to provide customers with the parts they need to minimize unexpected interruptions and quickly replace components on-site when needed. At the event, the parts on display included a RexCon gate, CON-E-CO gate, dust collector, automatic oiler, RexCon main roller assembly, aggregate bin clam shell gate, RexCon tilt mixer mixing blades and CON-E-CO tilt mixer mixing blades.
Astec focused on the importance of advanced technologies in concrete plants, which controls dust emissions and reduces noise, making it easier to permit new plants and ensuring safer operations.
"At Astec Industries, not only do we have the technology, but we have the experience and the expertise to take sustainability and have it not just be a cost, but actually an opportunity,” said Astec director of sustainability Trevor Wagoner.
