Astec Celebrates
50th Anniversary
Astec Industries is celebrating 50 years of designing and manufacturing heavy equipment used to build the infrastructure that connects family, friends and communities. Founded on August 9, 1972 by Dr. J. Don Brock and four of his closest friends, the company has grown into a global, billion-dollar manufacturer of equipment for road building and construction related projects.
Today, Astec is a one-stop shop manufacturer of more than 100 products for asphalt roadbuilding, aggregate processing and concrete production. The company employs more than 4,000 people with sales and manufacturing operations located around the world.
