The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Applications
Asphalt Mixing
A thermal mixing process is required to turn aggregates and liquid AC into an asphalt pavement mix for road construction. This makes an asphalt mixing plant necessary for road construction. The complete line of Astec asphalt mixing plants, and its range of capacities and features, gives you the choices and flexibility to create your optimum solution.
Astec supplies a complete line of high-performance drying and mixing equipment to fill the varying needs of producers worldwide. Each drum efficiently incorporates RAP into high quality mixes while meeting emissions requirements.
Drum Choices:

Relocatable Foundations
The M-Pack foundations are heavy-duty. They provide plenty of load-bearing surface to support the facility components. The cold feed unit, recycle bins, drum mixer and baghouse have thick structural tubes under each module leg. Steel skid foundations are used under the exhaust stack end of the baghouse. The scalping screen is supported by skid-type foundations. If you ever have to move to another site, most loads fit on lowboy type trailers, and the built-in foundations go with them.
Control Center
A built-in ticket window is standard. Provides an excellent facility control environment and surveillance capabilities with convenience and comfort.
PLC Controls
PMIII is the next generation of hot mix asphalt controls. Facility
operation has never been easier, faster or more accurate than with this
new, ‘hard-PLC’ based control. Expandable and retractable to suit your
specific needs, PMIII puts the best of our time-tested software, along
with new developments, into the most cutting edge industry hardware.
Astec Long-Term Storage Silos
Store mix longer with Astec long-term storage silos. To store mix without loss of quality, Astec silos are completely sealed to prevent mix oxidation, or premature hardening of the mix, which happens when the mix is exposed to air.
Astec hot mix storage systems come complete with drag conveyors,
traverse conveyors and batchers. Bucket elevators are available. Silo
support structures are designed to meet the site specific design
criteria at your location based on the current building codes in your
area. Our structural engineering staff will design your foundations
based on soil conditions at your site.
Relocatable Baghouse
Only Astec provides a choice of two distinct baghouse styles, the pulse jet baghouse or the reverse pulse baghosue. Modular construction and built-in supports eliminate the need for concrete foundations, making setup of the relocatable baghouse fast and easy.
Modular construction and built-in steel foundations eliminate the need for concrete foundations, making setup of the relocatable baghouse fast and easy. Relocatable baghouses are delivered on steel plate foundations. At the site, the top weldment bolts to the hopper section.
Blue Smoke System
Powerful fans route hydrocarbon emissions either to the drum burner for incineration or to a fiberbed filter type collection unit. Silo top and loadout area systems are available.
