Motor Sports Paving

Motor sports paving requires precision, consistency and control. Whether the track is NASCAR^®, Formula 1^®, oval, curved or a straightaway, each track has high performance requirements. When cars are traveling at speeds in excess of 200 mph a bump in the mat caused by a pause in paving is simply unacceptable. Inconsistencies in the mat will affect the track, the race and the safety of the drivers.

Motor sports paving requires nonstop paving, precise mat thickness and consistent paving practices. The hot mix asphalt needs to be uniform in terms of temperature and consistency. The resulting pavement must be able to withstand massive stress.
