Heatec Mix tanks are heated tanks typically used for making modified asphalt, but they can be used for other applications as well. We offer a multiple configurations. Mix tanks can be heated using a thermal fluid (hot oil) heater or electrically heated.
Overview
Heatec Mix tanks are heated tanks typically used for making modified asphalt, but they can be used for other applications as well. They use impellers mounted to the top of the tank to pull polymer pellets or another modifier down into the liquid asphalt cement to make a concentrate. After the mixture is complete the concentrate will be pumped to a holding tank or let-down tank.
We offer multiple configurations. They can be oriented vertically or horizontally. We make portable and stationary systems. Mix tanks can be heated using a thermal fluid (hot oil) heater or they can be electrically heated.
