Overview
Our process and hot oil piping can be factory pre-fabricated for field installation. Ideally it is done at the same time we build related components for the heating and storage system. Prefabrication at our factory uses fixtures (jigs) to ensure accurate fit-up in the field. We design the system to have the shortest piping runs and to provide fast heating on plant startup. We can also insulate all heated pipes to minimize heat loss. We offer field installation of both pre-fabricated piping and field-fabricated piping.
Piping is available in a variety of materials including carbon steel and stainless steel. Our systems are used for a variety of applications including asphalt, thermal fluids, food grade oils, crude oil, gases, glycols, etc. Valves and joints are selected based on the application to match the designed heat and types of fluids.

Heatec Piping Pre-fit
We work with our customers to design and engineer the piping systems which gives us the ability in most cases to pre-fit the piping before it leaves the factory. We use jigs to stand in as storage tanks and system components. We cut, fit, and label all the pieces to dramatically cut down on installation time in the field. We offer installation services for the piping and components to make installation a worry free process.
Heatec Piping Installation Services
We offer installation services for piping and components. Our engineering department works with the customer to design and engineer the system according to the layout of the job site. When necessary, a technician will visit and survey the job site, taking measurements and noting obstacles. Installation services offered include all the steps necessary to complete the job from start to finish.
Heatec Piping Insulation
Adding insulation to the piping system prevents heat loss and boosts efficiency of the system. We can install the insulation as part of our installation services. For longer piping runs, heat tracing can be added to the system to maintain temperatures. Heatec tracing can be electric or thermal fluid (hot oil) with heat supplied by a Heatec HCI thermal fluid heater.
