ASTEC engineers run computer simulations up to 9x faster with Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure
ASTEC Industries (ASTEC) wanted to empower its engineers to run complex particle and fluid-dynamic simulations. Capacity constraints from on-premises storage and computing capabilities were contributing to long simulation runtimes.
By using Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure, the company harnessed the high-performance computing capabilities of Azure to run intricate computer simulations with leading-edge simulation software from Microsoft partner Ansys.
ASTEC found a cost-effective option to expand its computing potential exponentially. And its engineers can now perform simulations eight to nine times faster, run new scenarios, and have more time to experiment with design changes.
