Astec Europe today announces a significant expansion of its GB market presence with the appointment of Red Knight 6 (RK6) and O’Kane Equipment Solutions Ltd as official GB distributors for Astec’s new track crushing and screening brand, Frontier. The move forms part of a wider strategic European growth initiative for 2026 and beyond and will be highlighted during Astec Europe’s high-profile showcase at Hillhead show in June, 22 – 24 2026.

These appointments reinforce Astec Europe’s commitment to building a strong, dealer distribution network that combines worldclass equipment with experienced, locally based customer support across GB.

A central pillar of this UK expansion is Astec Europe’s headquarters and manufacturing centre in Omagh, Northern Ireland. The Omagh facility serves as the operational heart of Astec’s European business, housing extensive engineering, design, and production capabilities. From this site, Astec designs engineers, and manufactures equipment specifically for the Global market. Notably, the new Frontier, track crushing and screening product line, one of Astec’s most strategically important product lines for the region, will be fully developed and produced in Omagh. The Frontier product line utilises Astec’s already proven crushing and screening technology that has been developed and enhanced over decades in aggregates and mining applications.

As part of the expanded UK strategy, Red Knight 6 (RK6) has been appointed as official  distributor for Astec’s Frontier, track crushing & screening product line in.  RK6 will represent Astec’s Frontier product line of track crushers and screeners, providing sales, commissioning, operator training, genuine parts supply, and ongoing aftersales support.

Recognised for its strong technical capability and customer focused approach, RK6 brings extensive experience supporting quarrying, recycling, demolition, and contract crushing operations throughout the territory.

O’Kane Equipment Solutions Ltd Appointed Frontier Track Crushing & Screening Dealer for Scotland and Northern England

O’Kane Equipment Solutions Ltd has been appointed as Astec Europe’s official Frontier dealer for Scotland and Northern England. They will offer the full Frontier product line of track crushers and screeners, providing sales, commissioning, operator training, genuine parts supply, and ongoing aftersales support, all further strengthening Astec’s regional coverage in key GB markets.

Led by Kieran O’Kane, the business brings over 35 years of hands-on experience in the quarrying and materials processing sector. Having worked alongside many of the UK’s leading producers, Kieran has developed a deep, practical understanding of site operations, production demands, and the realities of running efficient, high performing operations.

What sets O’Kane Equipment Solutions apart is its ability to translate decades of onsite experience into tangible customer value.
